Question 743: I divorced my husband in 1990. I was married to him for 13 years. I am 52 years old now and disabled. Am I entitled to his benefits now?
Answer: Neither Railroad Retirement or Social Security provides benefits for disabled spouses or divorced spouses.
You won't be eligible for benefits on your former husband's account until you are 62.
