Rail Worker Will Not Lose "Current Connection" After Retirement

(Posted June 8, 2010)

Question 757: Is it possible to break a RRB connection after full retirement age? I might want to get a part-time job after full retirement age.

Answer: When you retire with a "Current Connection," you cannot lose it by working after retirement.

You will, however, be subject to earnings restrictions until you reach your full retirement age.
