Divorced Spouse Can Receive Benefits

Question 765: Can a divorced spouse collect benefits from Railroad Retirement?
Answer: If you were married to the rail worker for at least 10 years are are not current married, you will be eligible at 62. Your benefit would be limited to a Tier 1 level benefit, however. Also, it would be reduced for any Social Security benefit you are entitled to.
