Divorced Spouse Can't Locate Rail Worker
(Posted January 12, 2011)
Question 789: Will I still receive my benefit if the ex-spouse can't be located?
Answer: You should contact the Railroad Retirement Board & ask if the necessary documents are in file including a copy of the final divorce decree awarding you a portion of your former spouse's Tier 2. They will tell you if your ex-spouse has been awarded an annuity & when they will begin your payments.
