How Long for a Decision After An Appeal?

Question 790: I've appealed a decision made on my claim. A hearing was held. How long until I get A decision on my appeal?
Answer: I checked with the Director of the Railroad Retirement Board's Bureau of Hearings & Appeals. The average time frame is currently running between 7 and 8 months.
