Question 869: What do I have to do to apply for a Divorced Spouse Annuity?

Answer: You need to contact the Railroad Retirement Board (RRB) to start the application process. Their toll-free number is: (877) 772-5772.

Be prepared to furnish the RRB certified copies of your birth certificate, marriage certificate and your final divorce decree.
