Do Veteran's Benefits Affect Railroad Retirement?

Question 893: I receive a Disability Annuity from the Railroad Retirement Board. If I am awarded a VA disability pension, will there be a income offset?
Answer: There is no offset in Railroad Retirement for veteran's benefits.
But you should check with the Department of Veterans Affairs to see if those benefits are reduced for Railroad Retirement.
