Reporting Of Certain Activities By Disability Annuitants
(Posted October 30, 2012)
Question 922: I am on total disability from the RRB. Why is it a requirement that one must report to the RRB "if you become a corporate officer of, own or operate a corporation (including a corporation owned by a family member or a friend), whether for pay or not"?
Answer: Reporting of new work activities is required even if you receive little or no compensation.
The RRB want to make sure those activities are compatible with your disability rating.
