austin3515 Posted November 5, 2017 Posted November 5, 2017 New cliuent for us where we discovered that there are 3 versions of a 2015 5500 that were filed, none as amended. They all have different ackID's and are all listed. Anyone know how to delete those? That 2015 filing needed to be amended, and I'm considering amending all 3 filings that are out there. Long story short, the previous provider included auditor information other than the financial statements that I would prefer to pull off the DOL's site. Austin Powers, CPA, QPA, ERPA
ESOP Guy Posted November 5, 2017 Posted November 5, 2017 My guess is the only way to do it is call the DOL. The few times I have done that with 5500 issues they were very helpful. But I am not aware of any way to delete the information yourself.
goldtpa Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 I had a similar situation. We filed a 5500 for a client. The client then had their former payroll company file a 5500. The 5500 filed by the payroll company did not amend the 5500 that I prepared, it was just a duplicate filing. I called FT Williams and they told me that the DOL would take the last 5500 filed and disregard the 5500s filed before. Hope that helps.
