Excerpt: A federal appeals court has ruled that Ford Motor Company did not interfere with the retirement plan benefits of employees reacquired from two previously spun-off production facilities by classifying them as rehired rather than reinstated. The 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said the employees failed to establish an expectation of future pension benefits.
