Excerpt: The total impact to businesses is not definable, according to Deloitte Tax, but businesses will have to change in several significant ways. Businesses, for example, will not be required to provide health coverage but as of 2014, employers who have at least 50 full-time employees (defined as working 30 hours per week or more) amd who don't provide health insurance will be assessed a penalty of $2,000 per employee per year.
