"It isn't easy to find that information, yet those fees can amount to hundreds of dollars a year or more and significantly reduce what you'll have when you retire. An AARP survey of plan participants 25 and older found that seven of 10 didn't know they were paying any fees at all.... That will change this summer when new disclosure requirements from the Department of Labor take effect."
