"Unfortunately, it is unclear whether the HITECH Act has expanded the use of health IT in a meaningful, effective way... We hope stakeholders can provide information about the areas of concern we have identified, any additional areas of concern, and potential solutions to improve HITECH implementation. We ask that feedback be sent to HealthITCommentPeriod@thune.senate.gov by May 16, 2013."
