Society for Human Resource Management [SHRM] Link to more items from this source
Aug. 4, 2016

"Among larger employers, health insurance offer rates -- the percentage of employers offering health insurance benefits to their workers -- have held steady.... But health coverage among smaller employers has been falling in recent years. From 2008 to 2015, offer rates at small organizations declined ... For employers with fewer than 10 employees, from 35.6 percent to 22.7 percent (a 36 percent dip). For employers with 10 to 24 employees, from 66.1 percent to 48.9 percent (a 26 percent dip). For employers with 25 to 99 employees, from 81.3 percent to 73.5 percent (a 10 percent dip)."
