| New Mexico Enacts Paid Sick Leave Law Mercer  [Guidance Overview] May 21, 2021 "The Healthy Workplaces Act will require employers to provide employees working in the state -- including part-time, seasonal or temporary workers -- at least one hour of earned sick leave for every 30 worked, up to a maximum of 64 leave hours per year. The law applies to employers with at least one employee who works in the state, but exempts the state and any political subdivision." |
