The U.S. Department of Labor is online; the Pension and Welfare Benefits
Administration has its own home page at

Too darned many graphics for this man's taste (takes a long time to read the
page), but one of the features of the new DOL PWBA page is FULL TEXT LINKS
TO DOL ADVISORY OPINIONS!

Advisory Opinions are the DOL equivalent to IRS private letter rulings.
They provide valuable insight into agency thinking about various legal
issues under ERISA.  Until now they have been very difficult to obtain.
(Only a few companies publish them.)

The full text of 1994 and 1995 opinions is online now; earlier opinions are
coming online eventually.

ERISA REGULATIONS *****************************************************

Another swell feature on the new DOL PWBA page is a hypertext version of all
of the ERISA regulations.  They appear to be up to date, and they are well
