SEARCHABLE EMAIL DATABASE ....... BenefitsLink is pleased to announce the addition of new automated pages for entering your email address into the free online "White Pages" of benefits plan sponsors (e.g., in-house benefits administrators) and benefits plan service-providers (e.g., consultants and actuaries). The previous procedures required a delay of several days (sometimes weeks!) before your name and email address showed up in the online White Pages. Now your name, company, city, state and email address are added to the online database instantly! Also, we've added a search engine that makes using the online White Pages much easier ... rather than scrolling through a long list of alphabetized last names (the old way), you just enter the addressee's last name into the search engine and up pops a table showing the addressee's full name, company, city, state and a link to the email address. Not listed yet in the White Pages but you operate your company's pension or welfare benefit plan or you provide services to such plans? Hop over to BenefitsLink at http://www.benefitslink.com and click on the White Pages link to sign up! It's free. Being in the White Pages means that others can send you email without having to remember your email address ... they just go to the BenefitsLink White Pages and look you up. Also very handy when you change your email address ... just change it in the online White Pages, so messages sent by people using the online White Pages will get right to your current address. ..................... NEW WEB SERVER FOR BENEFITSLINK ..... BenefitsLink now runs on a new, faster Web server (as of Friday, November 14, which hopefully will provide an even more reliable connection for you. The changeover should be transparent when using your Web browser. But if you get a message that says "XXX could not be found on this server" when you try to access a page called XXX that you've seen on BenefitsLink before, or if the Message Boards don't work for you any more, try using your browser's "reload" command. If that doesn't work, try quitting your Web browser entirely and then start it up again. If that doesn't work, please let me know (Dave Baker, erisa@benefitslink.com). .................
