For those interested, the new Form 5307 and instructions are now on the IRS website:
200803 Form 5307 200803 Form 5307 Instructions Mostly just format changes. The previous Form 5307 may be used until September. -------------------- John Simmons

Then new Form 5307 says "(Info Copy Only)". Does that mean I can't download it and fill it in? Seems like a step backward to have the IRS mail a paper copy to me on that big ol' diesel-guzzling USPS tractor trailer.

Fact is, it is downloadable and fillable--and then printable. Tomorrow, I'm mailing off to Covington the first one I've used in thise way. If they reject it, I'll post.
