Why did my friend get a 54dollar add on his lfg after 5mths not working with his employer

I just had a added 54 to my retirement acd from ach contribuitions i dont work for them anymore been 6 months i had 8 percent taken every check does that mean theyre sending me a check cause i feel there was a error on my hours
