Guest dmrrtr Posted August 30, 2001 Posted August 30, 2001 Up until when can I make a prior year sep contribution?
Guest Randy Ehle Posted September 4, 2001 Posted September 4, 2001 A caveat to the first reply...the employer may make a prior-year contribution up until the employer's tax filing deadline, plus extensions (possibly as late at 10/15). The IRA participant may also make a contribution (their traditional IRA contribution, $2,000 max this year), but it must be made by the participant's tax filing deadline with _no_ extensions (generally April 15).
