Guest llaplount Posted December 22, 2001 Posted December 22, 2001 I am currently trying to locate an organization that offers detailed training on 457(B) Plans. Does anyone know of any in the Southern California area?
Carol V. Calhoun Posted January 1, 2002 Posted January 1, 2002 I haven't seen one that offers training solely on 457(B) plans. ALI-ABA does an annual conference focused on plans of tax-exempt and governmental organizations, which is available either in-person (unfortunately, only in Washington, DC) or through audiotapes and course materials. It is normally given in September, although the one for 2001 was delayed until December due to the September 11 events. Guest benji Posted January 3, 2002 Posted January 3, 2002 Try McKay Hochman. Their instructors include Erisa attorney's, CPAs, CFPs and other professionals with years of experiance in banking, securities, and benefit consulting. They do customized in-house seminars which include 457 plans. Topics that could be discussed: Erisa considerations; design options; tax implications; Funding arrangements; documentation and IRS approval; Coordination with Qualified Plans. To arrange a meeting call 973-492-1880.
