Guest MikeH Posted May 17, 2002 Posted May 17, 2002 Our Multi-Employer Welfare Plan is seeking input on potential bidders for our PPO Medical Plan covering bargaining/non-bargaining employees and retirees. We have roughly 5,500 actives and 1300 retirees. Input on potential bidders capable of this level of service both regionally (Eastern WA) and nationally to cover our retirees would be helpful. Thanks, MikeH
GBurns Posted May 18, 2002 Posted May 18, 2002 Why do the retirees only? Would you not be better off having both groups together thereby not only expanding the size of the group and spreading the risk, but also reducing the age/utilization factors? George D. Guest MikeH Posted May 20, 2002 Posted May 20, 2002 We are offering together, its just that the local population is regional, consisting mainly of non-retirees. Sorry for the confusion.
