david rigby Posted May 17, 2002 Posted May 17, 2002 ...and its cross-reference, Reg. 1.410(a)-4(a)(1), which states [see (ii)] "For purposes of this paragraph, a target benefit plan is a defined contribution plan under which the amount of employer contributions allocated to each participant is determined under a formula ..." I'm a retirement actuary. Nothing about my comments is intended or should be construed as investment, tax, legal or accounting advice. Occasionally, but not all the time, it might be reasonable to interpret my comments as actuarial or consulting advice.
