Guest pension doc Posted September 14, 1998 Posted September 14, 1998 Have a prospect that wants to setup an ESOP. Who does ESOP documents besides Corbel? What kinds of fees? Thanks, Steve
Guest boetgerinc Posted September 16, 1998 Posted September 16, 1998 Can an attorney in your area provide ESOP documents? In our area - a local attorney seems to have the ESOP document market - and submits the documents to the IRS. He is rather expensive, but knows his stuff.
Guest ESOPwizard Posted September 29, 1998 Posted September 29, 1998 Lots of law firms and some accounting firms do ESOP documents. An ESOP document governs ownership of part of the business. As a consequence, if your client can't afford to hire someone who really understands ESOPs, he probably can't afford to have an ESOP. Even if the document price seems expensive, it will probably be inexpensive compared to the ongoing maintence costs, including the valuation.
