mroberts Posted July 11, 2002 Posted July 11, 2002 Does anyone know roughly want piece of the pie diagnostic visits make up as far as total costs go for medical insurance? For example, Rx makes up roughly 20% of total costs. I have this information somewhere, but just can't locate it at the moment. Thanks in advance!
Larry M Posted July 11, 2002 Posted July 11, 2002 About 2% is a rough approximation of the fee for diagnostic Xray and lab, excluding any cost for the specific physician visit - with the usual caveats concerning definition of terms, design of plan, etc. I do not have the cost of physician visits for diagnostic purposes only readily available.....but, for a modest fee.........
GBurns Posted July 12, 2002 Posted July 12, 2002 You should be able to find this info on the Bureau Of Labor Statistics or the MEPS website, most likely the latter. George D.
