Guest Sam Trager Posted July 6, 2003 Posted July 6, 2003 Read an article that says IRS Notice 2003-20 states that employers must report contributions to 457 plans on individual w2's. Has anyone heard of this? would this mean that contributions are now taxable?
joel Posted July 24, 2003 Posted July 24, 2003 Salary reduction amounts have always been reported on W2s. 457 plans are now being included in this requirement. Taxation on these amounts remain tax-deferred.
E as in ERISA Posted July 25, 2003 Posted July 25, 2003 I.e., They are not reported in the income box.
