Guest CHRISB0013 Posted November 5, 2003 Posted November 5, 2003 I am new to the post and would like to find out or get some type of direction regarding the rollover of my existing 457 plan I have to a traditional IRA. Someone told me recently that the tax laws have changed and this is now possible. If so any insight would be much appreciate. Thanks.
mbozek Posted November 6, 2003 Posted November 6, 2003 Deferrals in a governmental 457(b) plan can be rolled over to an IRA or a qualified plan. See IRS pub 590 at www.IRS.gov. mjb
