Don’t you hate the fact that they issued this so late? Most IRA practitioners already completed their programming for 1099-R. Hopefully, their rules engines were built with soft rules which can be easily modified

After 25 years + in the business, nothing that the service does suprises me anymore but your right. It is irritating and you think they would listen to the professionals in the industry. They say the Service keeps an eye on these boards. Maybe they need a monical for the eye.
