Guest thepitts Posted December 29, 2003 Posted December 29, 2003 I have a client that currently has 1 plan with 2 companies. They want to restructure the companies into seperate plans, let them decide what they want to contribute and do cross-testing on each plan. Do I have to combine the plans for cross-testing purposes?
Mike Preston Posted December 29, 2003 Posted December 29, 2003 If the two companies are part of a controlled group, then you can do anything you want provided you could do the same thing if there was only one company and you wanted two separate plans. Think of it that way and you will be able to tell what you can do and what you can't do.
