chris Posted July 22, 2004 Posted July 22, 2004 Haven't looked in a while, but is there a correction progarm for a situation where the employer haphazardly forgot to sign the adoption agreement? All trustees signed it, but officer of employer for whatever reason didn't get his/her signature in the blank.
mbozek Posted July 22, 2004 Posted July 22, 2004 Are you sure that there is no copy of the adoption agreement with the signature of a corporate officer? Adoption agreements are frequently signed in counterparts when the parties sign the document at different times or locations and all the signature pages are attached to the end of the agreement. mjb
E as in ERISA Posted July 22, 2004 Posted July 22, 2004 What about a board resolution authorizing the adoption of the plan?
