Blinky the 3-eyed Fish Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 I need the purchase rates for ages 45, 46 & 47 for the 1971 Group Annuity Mortality Table Projected to 2000 (Male). Help please. "What's in the big salad?" "Big lettuce, big carrots, tomatoes like volleyballs."
Blinky the 3-eyed Fish Posted July 30, 2004 Author Posted July 30, 2004 Nevermind, I opened up the old actuarial books and figured it out. "What's in the big salad?" "Big lettuce, big carrots, tomatoes like volleyballs."
flosfur Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 I did not know there was a "projected to 2000" version of GAM 71. I looked through the "Most Requested Mortality Tables" list from the Society of Actuaries and all I see is the basic GAM 71. If you want the basic GAM 71 APRs, let me know the interest rate(s) at which you want the APRs.
Blinky the 3-eyed Fish Posted July 30, 2004 Author Posted July 30, 2004 You can project any version of any table based on any number of projection scales. The scales are designed to reflect the better mortality as time passes. See how I apply what I learn. Normally, I don't have to deal with this stuff. "What's in the big salad?" "Big lettuce, big carrots, tomatoes like volleyballs."
david rigby Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 1971 GAM here: http://library.soa.org/library/tsa/1970-79...V23PT1N6724.pdf This paper also introduced Projection Scales D and E. I'm a retirement actuary. Nothing about my comments is intended or should be construed as investment, tax, legal or accounting advice.
