Has anyone seen a recent IRS field directive or memorandum that was issued to IRS agents reviewing plan documents? It gives guidence to agents reviewing plans for letters regarding short service employees and other issues.

The IRS said that it would be posted on their website later this week.

Thanks, Frank. An agent reviewing one of our plans has it and would not give us a copy. The agents got it last week.

fwiw, it was discussed by irs at last week's aspa meeting. as frank notes, it should be made public shortly.
