Guest enigmaaaaa Posted December 11, 2004 Posted December 11, 2004 I have a regular trading account with Scottrade and am thinking openning a Roth IRA account with them. Anyone who has a Roth IRA account with Scottrade can share his/her experience?
John G Posted December 12, 2004 Posted December 12, 2004 You already have all the information you need based upon you direct experience with Scottrade in a brokerage account: executions, customer service, statements, and investment options. A Roth does not change the company, it is just a coding of the account number to designate "Roth". Generally, having your Roth with the company where you have a brokerage account has some advantages: you know the website interface, you often get zero or lower annual fees, and in some cases all accounts may be summarized in one statement.
