Guest akwallace Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 This act requires employers to provide 24 months of COBRA coverage to service members instead of 18 months. If an employer continues active benefits for the first 6 months of Military LOA, and then offers 18 months of COBRA, does this satisfy the 24 month requirement? Or does COBRA have to be offered for 24 months after the LOA has ended?
