Theresa Lynn Posted July 28, 2005 Posted July 28, 2005 We are looking at software to prepare benefits adminstration forms and to assist with the applicable filing requirements. What are your thoughts on Accudraft? How does it compare with other administration/filing software?
WDIK Posted July 28, 2005 Posted July 28, 2005 I am not familiar with Accudraft's 2004 5500 software, so some of these issues may have been resolved from earlier versions. 1) Any validation with respect to the logic of line entries was extremely limited. A user needed to be very competent. 2) There were a variety of errors that cropped up with the printing process. 3) The support staff was able to give adequate assistance to correct most problems. 4) The software was extremely affordable. 5) It takes some time to get used to the question and answer format. ...but then again, What Do I Know?
Ron Snyder Posted July 30, 2005 Posted July 30, 2005 We use Accudraft plan documents and formerly used their 5500 software. It was adequate, but lacked certain features we consider essential (such as batch preparation of extensions). We switched this past year to Datair and are happy with it.
thepensionmaven Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 Go with Datair, Accudraft is about 5X the cost.
