Guest boltontd Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 If NY co reincorporates but does not change its name, does it have to terminate its benefit plans and establish new plans under new entity?
E as in ERISA Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 Depending on the circumstances, you could just have a change in sponsorship. (Does it have a new EIN?)
Blinky the 3-eyed Fish Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 I can't think of a circumstance that would require a new plan, including a new EIN. "What's in the big salad?" "Big lettuce, big carrots, tomatoes like volleyballs."
chris Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 Does "reincorporate" mean that it previously dissolved? If so, can you have a plan without a sponsor, i.e., orphaned plan issue.....?
