blue Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 If the plan is cross tested and top heavy, do participants receiving the top heavy contribution need to receive the 5% gateway or can they be limited to the 3% top heavy minimum?

Effen Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 Also, be careful of comp definition. TH = 3% total comp, gateway can be based on comp while a participant so it is possible the TH > gateway.
