Guest susanyb Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 We have numerous associates that miss benefit deductions because they are off work for various reasons, short term disability, workers' comp, layoff, FMLA. We are looking for a software program that will allow us to invoice them monthly, send late notices, track multiple months of fees, has the ability to post payments, AND which will allow information to be downloaded from excel. We use Travis COBRA and Travis T-Bill for other projects - so we would like something a little more versatile and indepth for this need. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks
GBurns Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Have you looked at QuickBooks Accounts Receivable module? What sort of versatility and in depth could you need for what seems like a simple task? George D. Guest susanyb Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 I have just been doing some internet searches - and haven't really found anything close to what we need. I suppose the versatility that we are looking for is the ability to send multiple notices. To add what someone owes to their own account from one month to the next - etc.
GBurns Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 What makes that any different from what is done in any Accounts Receivable system? You send an Invoice either for each item or you send an invoice with each item as a separate line. You send a monthly statement thatis updated each month with the new invoices. You post any payments as received. You can send duplicate invoices or statements as you see necessary. If you want you can treat each item as you would an Inventory item and get useage etc figures. Anything you want. All you seem to need is a very simple Accounts Receivable system with Invoicing and Statements. George D.
