Guest mingblue Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 This year's Grey Book from the EA meeting had several questions on optional forms and I believe at least one of those questions referenced final regs under 411(d)(6) - does anyone know how you search for these regs ? - I tried on the CCH website to no avail ???
Guest Harry O Posted April 1, 2006 Posted April 1, 2006 Is there an internet site where us non-actuaries can get the Grey Book Q&As?

david rigby Posted April 1, 2006 Posted April 1, 2006 You can purchase it at the CCA link given by Effen. I'm not aware of any link that will allow you to read the Q&As. These messge boards contain more than a few references, including a few quotes. Try searching, but you will be more successful using "gray" than "grey". (The former is the correct spelling.) Occasionally, but not all the time, it might be reasonable to interpret my comments as actuarial or consulting advice.

Guest mingblue Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 DonNIs this what you are looking for? http://www.access.gpo.gov/nara/cfr/waisidx...26cfr1e_05.html thanks ; these regs (ie. 1.411(d)-4 in particular ) have a date of 2005 on them ; I got the impression that there ae more recent ones - also, there's terminology such as "core" path ??
GBurns Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 I can only suggest that you try a Google search and a search of the IRS website. You might find something later or relevant by looking at this list: http://www.irs.gov/retirement/article/0,,id=96688,00.html George D. david rigby Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 If you are looking for the Gray Book on an IRS website, remember that the IRS does not own it. (It is possible that they have permission to publish it, but ownership belongs to the Enrolled Actuaries Meeting.) I'm a retirement actuary. GBurns Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 From the OP I think that he is just looking for the latest "version" of Treas Regs 1.411(d)-4 and 1.411(d)6. George D. Guest Steve C Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 For core and non-core options, etc., try the proposed and final regs under 1.411(d)-3.
