Guest puddle Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 Help, having trouble putting up a post, if this is not right place sorry. Does anyone know if ersia counts layoff time as vesting if you are a plan participant. I know leave of Absence does not but don't know about layoff. Thanks for any help
Guest DBtech Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 I don't think most plans count layoff time for vesting purposes, usually it's 1000 hours rule. However, plans do credit 501 hours for periods when layed-off, so a Break in Service doesn't occur.
