Jilliandiz Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 Is a 403(b) Plan the same thing as a 401(k) plan, just that its sponsored by a non-profit? Do they have the same rules, limits, testing, etc?
Archimage Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 Try this resource and I think it will probably answer a lot of your questions. http://benefitsattorney.com/modules.php?na...=showpage&pid=1
Guest willow Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 There are a lot of similarities, but I think a 403(b) has one key advantage over a 401(k) plan and that is the plan does not have to perform the ADP test, hence the highly compensated do not have to limit what they put into the plan.
