Guest tonys Posted December 1, 1999 Posted December 1, 1999 I need to know if Roth IRA's are protected from creditors in North Carolina. How can I find out?
Michael Devault Posted December 1, 1999 Posted December 1, 1999 Here's a couple of ideas for you to try. 1. Check the North Carolina statutes regarding bankruptcy. They may be on the state's website. 2. Consult with a local attorney on the matter. Or, if you can get a bankruptcy judge to return your call, ask him/her. Good Luck!!
Guest ak Posted December 1, 1999 Posted December 1, 1999 Try the Investment Company Institute site. They have by state information on IRA creditor protection. I believe it includes Roth IRAs, too. The site is ici.org
