CTipper Posted May 9, 2007 Posted May 9, 2007 I've heard that California doesn't allow the emailing of information with employee social security numbers in the email. Are there other states that don't allow that? If so, does a password protected zip file allow for the transmission of that information? Thanks Christopher

Although implied in the title to the forum, the original question does not state this is related to a benefit plan.
