rcline46 Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 I recently read an article that the IRS is planning to limit the number of HCE rate groups based on the number of NHCE rate groups. However, no amount of my searching gets the article to appear. It may have been in Dave's newsletter within the last 2 months. Anyone else remember reading this, and more importantly, a link to it? Thank you.
Tom Poje Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 I'd respond, but then you would get another e-mail notification...oh wait that is a different issue. its an LRM that applies to particular plans - I think this is for prototypes only. If I understand things correctly it would not apply to volume submiteer or individually designed. good grief, I think I am getting near my limit on attachments again.
rcline46 Posted May 14, 2007 Author Posted May 14, 2007 Mr. Baker made sure I don't get emails anymore. Nice man he is. I may be remembering something that never was again. It's one of those luxuries that comes with age.....er........ experience. Maybe it was a report from a conference, or something in prototype plans, where the number of HCE groups was to be limited to some multiple of NHCE groups. Must have been a trial balloon and it got a quick burst.
Mike Preston Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 Reed, Reed, Reed. No, wait. I misspelled that. What Tom sent.
Earl Posted July 13, 2007 Posted July 13, 2007 Tom - Why do you think it applies to Prototypes only (because it says "Nonstandardized plans only")? Thanks CBW
Mike Preston Posted July 13, 2007 Posted July 13, 2007 Yes. Are you familiar with "standardized" and "non-standardized" plans? They only come from one source: prototypes.
