Guest RetirementConsultant Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 I am wondering what would be a reasonable rate to charge for consultancy fees Does it matter the job and level of complexity? or should I just charge one flat fee? I plan to charge per hour for projects that take five hours or less, and per-day for projects that take more than five hours. My consultation services on on IRAs and DC plans, and usually involve providing techincal assistance and training Guidance appreciated
JanetM Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 I don't believe you will get anyone to give you a number on this board. JanetM CPA, MBA
four01kman Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 Sure, why not. Hourly fees can range from $10 per hour for pure administrative tasks to $x for high level consultancy. If you don't know what x is, check with local law firms as to what their hourly rates are, and pick something. Jim Geld
Guest RetirementConsultant Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 Thanks both. I definitely understand why someone would be somewhat guarded with their fees. I found this http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%...onsultancy+fees Seems helpful. Cheerio
AndyH Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 Maybe if you are extra nice JanetM will tell you what she pays her consultanciests.
