Felicia Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 We have been approached by several governmental entitles looking to invest in our financial products. These entitles do not have a plan document. We are interested in offering a 457(b) prototype plan document to be used by governmental entitles. If you know of any service providers that offer such a governmental 457(b) product, please advise the name of the company and, if possible, the name and number of a contact. Thank you.
John Feldt ERPA CPC QPA Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 If you are a third party administrator and you want to begin offering a 457(b) product, I know Sungard has a product available. Be careful to study up on these types of plans before putting a document together however. There's a huge difference between a 457(b) plan sponsored by a government entity vs. a 457(b) plan sponsored by a nonprofit corporation.
