Guest blabukiff Posted October 15, 2007 Share Posted October 15, 2007 In March, 2007, Ohio passed the Mental Health Parity Act. It is very similar to the Federal MHPA of 1996. However, the Ohio MHPA refers to "group health plans." My question is, would a multi-employer, collectively bargained Health and Welfare Plan fit under the Ohio MHPA, or would the Ohio MHPA be pre-empted by the Federal MHPA? Thanks.
