jevd Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 The attached pdf charts containing retirement plan, IRA, Roth, and HSA limits (2007 & 2008) may be freely distributed in their entirety. Comments welcome. These charts are great. I like the format. John JEVD Making the complex understandable.
Bird Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 Yes, thanks. I didn't pay much attention at first since we prepare a (shorter) chart of our own but this is great! Ed Snyder
Fisher Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 This is one of the best charts I have ever seen. Thanks especially for the phase-out ranges with IRAs and Roths, which is always confusing
Guest ak Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 For traditional IRA rollover to plan scenario, it shows that after-tax contributions can't be rolled over to 457 plans, etc. Don't see the same thing specifically stated for various other plans, e.g., qualified plans, etc. Question: Can these other plans accept after-tax rollovers or not. Have seen different interpretations and am trying to get some clarification. [Thank you, the change has been made. See the 5/08 revision posted. --GSL]
Gary Lesser Posted May 21, 2008 Author Posted May 21, 2008 COLA/Rollover Chart Modified. The Rollover chart was modified and takes into account the provisions of Notice 2008-30 relating to rollovers and direct transfers to Roth IRAs. The prohibition against rolling over after-tax contributions to certain plan types was added to the Traditional IRA/SEP row. [Rev. 5/08] Thanks for the comments (public and private). The attached pdf charts may be freely distributed in their entirety. COLA_RO_rev_5_2008.pdf

GMK Posted May 21, 2008 Posted May 21, 2008 Thanks, Gary. Your charts are great. They go in the "important stuff" 3-ring binder immediately.
