Tinman Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Looking to talk to someone who also uses the Accudraft online system - we've had some issues with the system and are being told NO ONE ELSE IS HAVING THESE PROBLEMS which I find hard to believe. Don't want any specifics about your document, just want to see if you have any technical problems with the system. Thanks!!
Bird Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 We found the online system to be...painful...and went back to the off-line version. I don't want to knock them publicly and anonymously because otherwise we're happy. Send me a message if you want to discuss further. Ed Snyder
Blinky the 3-eyed Fish Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 I will knock them because they deserve the knocks. If I were to spell out all the problems we've had, I would write a novel. We are switching firms with the EGTRRA DC restatements. "What's in the big salad?" "Big lettuce, big carrots, tomatoes like volleyballs."
Guest amycavanaugh Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 I work with some clients who use the AccuDraft online Docsengine system and more often then not the slowness is cause by hardware at the office not the product itself. If you call their client support they will walk you through some troubleshooting. Just my 2 cents.

Guest amycavanaugh Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 Don't you work for Accudraft? No I do not. I am now an independent document consultant who actually struggled with a system so slow it took over a minute to get from one screen to the next. Thanks for clarifying that for everyone, I didnt want that to look like an ad.
Below Ground Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 Good luck with your business. Having braved the blizzard, I take a moment to contemplate the meaning of life. Should I really be riding in such cold? Why are my goggles covered with a thin layer of ice? Will this effect coverage testing? QPA, QKA
Peanut Butter Man Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 What is an independent document consultant?
Guest amycavanaugh Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 What is an independent document consultant? Thanks for asking, sorry, I have not been in here for a while, hense the delayed response. I help firms do documents more efficently and profitably. I help them automate other documents, I have begun to create a designation for document specialist, I have also taken on bulk restatement projects, pretty much pick up where the document vendors leave off. Documents are painful, I like to see myself as a painkiller. Anyway this is not an advertisement by any means. Any document questions that I can help with, post them here, I promise I will be more frequent guest.
