Guest PeteC Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 I have a 401k that includes after tax contributions (post 1986). I am considering rolling the plan over to a traditional IRA. The plan adminstrator said I will receive a check for the after tax amount in the 401k. Can I rollover the after tax amount contributions to an existing Roth IRA? Thanks In Advance. Pete
